Avant

Avant is a Swedish brand of tobacco-free nicotine pouches, developed and manufactured by Kurbits Snus AB. Launched in 2023, the brand is part of the company’s portfolio of nicotine products. The name "Avant" is inspired by the term "avant-garde," which is associated with innovation and progress. The product range consists of "white snus" (tobacco-free nicotine pouches) available in various flavors and nicotine strengths, all manufactured in Sweden.

The Avant range features slim-format nicotine pouches in a variety of flavor categories, including fruit, berries, mint, licorice, and coffee. Specific product varieties include Tropical Banana, Raspberry Liquorice, Caffè Mocha, Cool Ice Tea, and Cool Iced Apple. Nicotine content varies across the range, with products offered in different strength categories. The pouches are all-white and contain no tobacco leaf; instead, they are based on plant fibers and other ingredients.

Avant is produced by Kurbits Snus AB, a Swedish manufacturer with experience in both traditional tobacco snus and tobacco-free nicotine products. The company has steadily expanded its operations within the white snus category and is also the company behind the brand VID. In developing Avant, Kurbits has explored new flavor combinations, pouch materials, and manufacturing techniques specifically tailored for tobacco-free nicotine pouches.

Production takes place in Sweden. According to the manufacturer, the process incorporates packaging produced in Sweden, as well as raw materials sourced from Swedish and European suppliers. The products are sold in cans containing 20 pouches and feature a minimalist design, with the flavor variant and nicotine strength clearly indicated on the packaging. Since its launch, Avant has expanded its product range with additional flavors and strengths. The brand is available through Swedish retailers and is also distributed to international markets.
